We are looking for a Compliance Manager in a newly created role that will lead and develop the risk, compliance and quality function, ensuring all strategic and operational requirements to uphold dusk’s standards for product quality and compliance across all channels, ensuring that products are safe and fit for purpose.

Additionally, you will:

  • Implementing and overseeing risk and compliance policies to ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks (ACCC/ACCIS/ACM)
  • Manage annual legal compliance documents including Modern Slavery Statement, AICIS, EESS, and APC reporting.
  • Supporting complaints handling, breach management, and customer communications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide compliance guidance
  • advising buying teams and suppliers on sustainability and compliance-aligned alternatives, managing relationships with external consultants, and documenting potential compliance risks.
  • Oversee and support the sustainability strategy by setting clear goals, integrating sustainability into operations, and ensuring compliance with ESG standards.
  • Collaborate with the product team to implement and review quality control procedures, manage QA projects, and address escalated issues.
  • Develop and maintain operational manuals and workflow checklists while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular product quality assessments, enforce corrective actions, and uphold dusk's quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimize resources, and reduce environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop SOPs for consistency, waste reduction, and quality assurance.
  • Manage supplier onboarding documents to ensure they remain up-to-date.
  • Oversee factory auditing processes to maintain traceability and transparency.

You're a perfect fit if you have:

  • Proven experience in a technical role with in-depth knowledge of raw materials, formulations, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong understanding of product manufacturing regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a passion for maintaining high product quality and compliance standards.
